Guess What?!?!?
You will never believe what happened the other day.
I was in the kitchen putting things away and my friend, Sharlie who was doing dishes after supper came in i told me she had the most exciting news. I responded with a rather uninterested "okay" and continued with my work. She said "you have to look at me" so I looked at her and she said "I FOUND YOUR SHOE!". yup that's right the shoe i kicked of the ferry dock! yes, indeed that very same shoe floated down the beach past Overbury (a b&b on the island) and landed on the beach, where Sharlie found it while taking a much longer walk than usual. And the most amazing part about the whole story is... it doesn't even look like it took a swim in the ocean. It looks exactly like the other one (minus the sand). YAY!

Shoe overboard
Hello everyone!
The weather here is amazing! yesterday I sat outside while I worked on my assignments, on a picnic bench under an apple tree by the the cow pasture (i kid you not). It was divine. nad today the funniest thing happened.
As I stood with my friends waiting to get on the ferry i was contemplating out loud about standing on one o f wooden poles that the dock is attached to and doing a karate kid kick when i decided to imitate it. little did i realize that it probably wasn't wise since i was wearinfg loose ballet flats and as my foot flew up my shoe flew off did several flips in the air above my head before landing with a definite plunk in the ocean behind me.

What i've been learning
I continue to learn a lot of the same things in every book we study. one is that there is no one i can depend on more than God, he will always be there for me and i can cling to him and i should only cling to him. i also am continuing to see that jesus is all i need and he provides everything for me. that pretty much sums it up beside interesting facts and such, but everybody at the school continues to say they are learning to fully rely on God. the rest i can tell you next week.
